My dear Connie and family,
We just learned today of the passing of our sweet Emily. We had a deep love for this precious daughter.
She was a joy to teach and always displayed an enthusiastic, professional, and teachable quality at every lesson. We laughed and cried together over her health struggles. She never wanted to give up and fortified her faith with every new challenge.
I loved hearing her play her violin and knew she was performing with her special, tender, heart. She used her gifts to bring joy to others and continually exuded a happy, grateful, countenance. It is an honor to have been a small part of her life.
Sweet Connie, may your heart be comforted with angels from heaven. You are truly an angelic mother.
The tender mercies of the eternal realms will now allow her to be free from pain and suffering.
We extend our deep love and condolences to you and your entire family.
Much love,
Tammy and Bob Cardon in Oklahoma

I wanted to express my heartfelt condolences to all of Emily’s family. For right now, there’s no detour around grief, no shortcut through mourning. However, 2 Cor.4:7 says that God can give us, “...power beyond what is normal...”, to go from one day to the next. This does not mean that we no longer cry or that we forget. It means we recover. We recover because of our hope. Jesus Christ talked about our hope in John 5:28 which says, “... all those in the memorial tomb will hear his voice and come out...”. Jesus was referring to the resurrection. That is our amazing hope! The Bible likens our hope to an anchor. Just like an anchor stabilizes a ship, our hope stabilizes us and keeps us from drowning in overwhelming sadness. One way that God comforts us today is by moving people who care about us to give us words of encouragement that we need to hear. May the God of comfort be your comfort now, during this time of sorrow. For the Bible’s answers to life’s big questions please visit JW.org.

Smith family:
I am so sorry to see this obituary. I was unaware of all of her accomplishments but, knowing your family and the love and support you share it's not surprising. God bless you and your family during this time and the months after.
Sincerely and with condolences

I am truly sorry for your loss. I hope you find comfort in the scripture at Acts 24:15. This is what our God Jehovah promises for us all. And we can look forward to what is written in Psalm 37:9-11 and 29.
