I remember visiting John well in his home and talking of his passion for archaeology research into the Book of Mormon. We had similar interests in this matter and I appreciated his passion for the subject. John was an active participant in our High Priests group and a valued member of our ward. My sincere condolences to his wife, Mary, and to John's family. Sincerely, Bishop Craig Bushman
