Scott Miller

Obituary of Scott William Miller

Scott William Miller, age 55, passed away in Salt Lake City surrounded by family on April 3, 2018.  He was born in Panorama City, California to Russell William and Janice Tani Zelenyak Miller.  He married Karie Lynn Knight, the love of his life, on September 15, 1984 in the Los Angeles Temple.

Scott was the American Fork Hillcrest Stake President, Co-Owner of Club Pilates, Co-Owner of The Miller & Wade Insurance Agency, and many other ventures. He loved to golf, especially with his kids. He was a huge Lakers fan.  He loved traveling with his sweetheart and his kids.  He was always up for a fun adventure and loved to experience new places. Scott loved listening to and collecting music. He had a love for The Beatles, classic rock, and anything he could dance to in the kitchen. Scott loved his wife, children, and brother more than anything in this world. Everything he did, he did for Karie. She was always his first priority.  Scott also loved to tell silly dad jokes and laugh. His motto in life was, "We can do hard things."   Scott had a deep love for everyone he met, especially the members of his stake and ward. He felt deep gratitude for all the fasting and prayers on his behalf during these last six months while battling cancer. He had a strong testimony of God's love for all of His children and of the Atonement of Jesus Christ.

He is survived by his wife Karie, children: Bryan (Jessica) Miller, Christopher Scott (Jaelyn) Miller, Alyson Miller, Madelynn (McKay) Warren and Tyler (Sharon) Miller, 2 grandchildren Nelson Scott Miller and Mia Miller, his mother Tani Miller, brother Terry (Lori) Miller, Nephews: Nicholas, Logan, Ryan, and Adam Miller
