We loved Scott. I spoke with and texted him a few times over the past several months and only heard today that he had passed. He was always so kind and helpful. We miss him dearly.

Scott would come into our office and always say Hello to whomever he saw and was always so pleasant. He was always so nice and had a smile. I will miss him and think of him always. I know his loss deeply affected our CFO and hope with time the pain of his loss eases from deep heartache to fondness and love for the time and memories you all were graced with.

In the employee benefits business there are a few who stand out as being full of honesty and integrity, always sharing and always thinking of others. Scott is one of these rare individuals. Through the industry advisory boards and travel, it was a privileged to get to know Scott and discover that he is a kind, caring and sharing person - truly he emulated our Savior in all of his words, actions and example. Scott will be missed but never forgotten. Karie, may you and your family feel the uplifting strength from the many thoughts and prayers being offered in your behalf and may the peace and comfort that comes through the atonement help you find solace at this time in your lives.

So sad to hear the passing of such a great man! Scott will be missed by so many. For reason we don't fully understand right now, Scott was called home for a greater purpose.
Thoughts and prayers go out to the Miller family.

Scott will be a tough act to follow. There are few like him, and fewer even close to him. I know him through business and have always been impressed for his care and concern for his clients and his honest dealings with all those that he dealt with, both in and outside of his business life. This great man will be sorely missed. May God bless his family and those who mourn for him. May you receive peace and love in the assurance that you will see and be with him again.

I have known Scott for years. He has always been a consistent disciple of Christ. When life happened that we had opportunity to talk we relished in the winning (and lately losing) of the Lakers, we loved being rasied in So Cal and loved the gospel of Jesus Christ. When I was called as the Stake President of the American Fork North Stake and went to my first meeting for stake presidents i felt scared and alone and entered the room where Scott’s kind loving caring eyes greeted me and it was as though the Savior himself was welcoming me in. Thanks Scott for being just who you are and for loving life and people more than I thought one man could possibly do. You are and always will be a giant among men.

Miller Family
Scott was one amazing person that I was blessed to have the privilege of knowing. My heart is saddened with the loss your family is going through. President Miller was a giant of a man who was somebody I always enjoyed conversing with and working with. My life will forever be better for having known him in this life. What piece it brings knowing that we can all see him again in our next journey.
