Edwin Wycherley

Obituary of Edwin m. Wycherley

On this first day of Autumn our beloved husband, father, grandfather, brother and friend passed away on September 23, 2015 due to prostate cancer. Ed was born on March 13, 1954 in Price, Utah to his loving parents Edwin McGonigle and Lylas Allridge Wycherley. Ed was 61 years old. On October 15, 1983, Ed married Lynda Davis, they have been married 32 wonderful years, and they were later sealed for time and all eternity on March 16, 2013 in the Timpanogos Temple. Together they have three children, Bobbie Ann, Brandon, and Weston. They have 5 grandchildren, Shayla, Austin, Karah, Jacob, and Tyler. In addition to their human family they have raised numerous dogs, currently Gracy and Maggie who haven’t left his side since he was diagnosed with cancer last September. Ed always said “dogs are people to”. Ed was blessed with three siblings, Pete (deceased), Sam, and Vicki Booth. He lived in Price, and later moved to American Fork in the second grade where he currently resides. He owns and operates Wycherley Wash, and was a very successful business owner. Ed was blessed with the gift of Gab, he was either on the phone or visiting with someone who had stopped by. His love was Christ like, loving everyone unconditionally. Ed and Lynda were members of the Big Horn Ranch where they spent many days camping, hunting and spending time with the wonderful Ranch members. Ed was a big man with an even bigger heart, his circle of friends and family could reach to the moon and back. He had a heart as big as Gold, and was true example of Christ like behavior. Ed has a testimony of his Heavenly Father and was grateful for all he had been given. Ed was a wonderful husband and good provider; he will be missed every moment of the day. We would like to thank Huntsman Cancer Institute and all the loving professional doctors and nurses, along with the Hospice team. We would like to thank everyone for all their loving condolences and expressions of love. Funeral services will be Monday, September 28, 2015 11:00 a.m. at American Fork 29th Ward, 673 East 300 North, American Fork.
