Ed will always have a special place in my heart because of all the unselfish service he rendered to me and my family over the years. One year, he sponsored my scratch bowling league including Wycherley Wash shirts. He show up unannounced on my doorstep with a turkey one time because he just wanted to share. He didn't know that Erline had just got home from a short hospital stay and how perfect the timing was.
On several occasions, Ed helped me with his truck to pick up firewood and even loaned me his log splitter for a week. Even when he wasn't feeling well from his cancer treatments, he would offer help to me.
Ed was the ideal example of what Christ taught...to always look for the good in others and to render aid and comfort to those around us who need it. My life and my family has been greatly blessed with his example. We pray that you take comfort knowing that a joyful reunion has already happened with Ed and his mother and when the time is right, we all might be together again in the eternities.
May God bless you with this comforting knowledge

My Dear Friend Ed, You will never know the impact you had on my life. You taught me to be more understanding and patient with others, not to pass judgement - but to accept people for who they are. I will miss our drives and conversations my friend. I will always cherish the gift you recently sent me. You were truly my best friend. I will never have another friend like you and I thank you for sharing a part of your life with me. I was so very blessed for having you in my life. I will see you later my dear friend. Ed was a great friend to all he met. He was a great man, husband, father, brother, and son. He and my Dad were great frineds all through life which is how I know Ed. He was one of the great ones, the good guys. There are not many left and he was one of the last few. I know he is no longer suffering for that I am thankful. Lynda I pray for your heart to heal until you can be with him again one day.

Dear family of Ed Wycherly, I send my deepest sympathy to you, as I cannot be with you at this time, to put my arms around you. I am saddened to learn of Ed's long suffering and early departure from this life. May you be comforted in the knowledge that in "but a small moment" all tears will be wiped away and an everlasting happiness will replace all loneliness, doubt and suffering. As David and I are serving our second mission in the Seoul Korea Temple, this truth gains deeper meaning every day. Hold fast to your covenants--hold fast to each other. Ed will be using his priesthood to bring others who have passed on, to the temple. Cherish your opportunities to do so as well, and he will be near you. May God bless you always.

Sorry , doing this on my phone. At the time I could see Ed was on the cusp of a life change. It's amazing to see that what seemed like an already working, loving couple as Ed & Lynda, become so much more !! I'm very blessed to have had the opportunity to spend time with Ed. And I'm trying to rearrange work in an attempt to say ttfn Sunday or Monday. I can feel your pain Lynda, it's hard to move along in life, waiting ( and praying ) to be with them again. No words of wisdom, just a little experience, things will get tolerable in time.

I recall knowing who Ed was before working for him. I used to think he was way to cool for my company. However, my time working, and a little playing, I came to believe he was a gentle giant. At the time I al

We have had a great working relationship with Ed for over 30 years. We worked on so many amazing projects together including the Salt Lake Temple, the Logan Temple, Hotel Utah (Joseph Smith Memorial Building), and most recently the new Provo City Center Temple to name a few. Ed was a great friend and an amazing person. He will be deeply missed.

We have lost a wonderful man to the ravages of this earthly existence. Ed was a best friend to Earl and I know that they are together again and this knowledge brings me a lot of peace. I know why so many people love him. He gave unconditional love. My thoughts and prayers are with you and your family, Lynda. God bless you, dear friend.

Dear Linda and family----I remember how when Marty lived on 500 East in AF(before he was married) how Ed would be visiting and he always had his big white dog with him. He knew Evelyn Wise and her family and how kind and generous he was to them. He truly has a big heart!! May the Lord smile upon you, and grant unto you the peace and understanding you so richly deserve at this time!
