Obituary of Lucille Crowther Ward Jorgensen
Lucille (Pat) Crowther Ward Jorgensen, 83, passed away at home surrounded by her family February 10, 2017.
Born March 28, 1933 in Idaho Falls, Idaho the daughter of William Alexander and Nellie Mariah Dayton Crowther. She married Ezra Marion Ward September 15, 1952 in the Logan LDS Temple. He preceded her in death March 26, 2005. She later married Hugo Gaylon Jorgensen October 2, 2009 in the Mt. Timpanogos LDS Temple.
Pat was a gifted musician and played many instruments. She loved being with her family, especially outdoor activities. Mom was an avid fisherman and loved to share her skills. She was very active in the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. She had many church callings and served as the organist or chorister in every ward she was in. She served two missions with her husband Ezra; the first to the Zimbabwe, Harare mission and the second to the Maryland, Baltimore Mission. She was also a temple worker in the Seattle LDS Temple.
She is survived by her Husband, Gaylon; her children: Debra Ward (Kirk) White; William “Rick” (Muriel) Ward; Karla Ward (Bradley) Batt; Steven (Laure) Ward; Karen Ward(Eric) Glenn; Kristina Ward (Alan) Fairwell; Dana Ward (David) Fowler; Step Children: Stuart Jorgensen; Djalmar (Hiru) Jorgensen; GayeLynne (Joel) Richards; Cheryl Renee’ (Brett) Wells; 39 Ward grandchildren; 36 Ward great grandchildren; 9 Jorgensen grandchildren; and 9 Jorgensen great grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her husband Ezra; a son Michael; 4 grandchildren; her siblings, Wayne; Naomi, J.C. and Camille.
Funeral services will be held Saturday February 18, 2017 at 11:00 a.m. in the Manila 7th Ward, 1320 West 3540 North, Pleasant Grove, where a viewing will be held from 9:30 to 10:40 a.m. prior to the services.
Burial in the Greenwood Memorial Terrace Cemetery, Spokane, Washington on February 21, 2017.
