I grew up in the same neighborhood with the Nielsen's. It was the best time. We lived in a fun, kid-filled neighborhood and I played with Arla almost daily.
I will forever remember riding bikes, playing house, hide and seek, watching Arla play the piano, capture the flag.......
The Nielsen's house was always abuzz. With a houseful of kids, there was always something going on and with only 1 sibling, I loved the commotion. It was the same at the Woodbury's house, with all the kids and playing outside. I loved going to Primary with Jimmy and Arla. Good times.
This is a big loss. My heart goes out to his wife, his children, his siblings, his MOTHER. I lost my only sibling in 2003 and know all too well the pain that is so very present and long lasting.
But we have a faith that this isn't the end, only the beginning, and we will be reunited with loved ones one day. God holds many secrets and why these things happen we can't always understand. My prayers and my heartfelt condolences to all of you. There IS joy in the morning, it takes a long time, but He will carry you through.
