He was the Santa of all Santa's. We had him come to our family parties for years. There was something magical about him. From his laugh, to his kind words. We all have many fond memories of him. Our thoughts and prayers are with your family.

This man was Santa. Starting in the early 70's through the early 2000's his visit to our family Christmas Eve party was the highlight of our evening. He created treasured memories for five generations of our family. Thank you Holdaway family for sharing your husband and father on that special night each year. He was loved and will forever be in our memories.

PopPop,
I’ll never forget your laugh or your sense of humor that I see in my dad every day. Thank you for the many unforgettable Disneyland vacations that came with enough memories to last a lifetime. Thank you for being front row to every softball game no matter the weather. Thank you for always telling me how much you love me and how proud you are of me. No matter where life takes me, I know you’ll always be in my heart, cheering me on just like you always did.
Love, Britt

Thank you Dad, for 15 years of working side by side at Maple Lanes. For helping us at the car wash and snow shacks for another 14 years. For the talks on the way to Delta to bowl every Wednesday. You were loved everywhere and we still get asked about you often. Thank you for teaching us to make soup from scratch. For all the years of unwavering support of our kids, praising them for making the honor roll and for never missing a dance recital, football, softball, basketball, or baseball game. Even when you were sick or couldnt walk you would drive over and watch from the car. Thank you for always calling to check on us and see how we were doing. In your last days as sick as you were you stilll called to see how Jaxson was feeling because he had a cold. Thank you for showing us what true work ethic looks like. In 35 years at Geneva you only took a handful of sick days. Always saying you wanted your days off to be for having fun not being sick. Your body might have given out but your mind was as sharp as ever. Talking sports, off color jokes and giving your nurses a hard time. Thank you for all the stories, we loved listening to you talk about growing up, the farm, your years of coaching basketball and the track records you set at Lincoln high school. We never once doubted how much you loved us and you always made sure we knew how proud of us you were. You impacted more lives than you could possibly know and you will be missed every day. May you rest in peace knowing how much you are loved.
