Carolyn and I were roommates our first year at BYU. The four of us were strangers when we moved in, but soon became close friends. Too many memories to recount here, but we forged lifetime connections. We all were part of Heinz and Carolyn's courtship and enjoyed his vibrant personality. I regret this message is so late. I didn't learn of her death until yesterday. My sincere condolences to her family. I know she has left a deep void in your lives. She was so good, so kind and loving.

Carolyn and I were visiting teaching companions when we lived in Monterey, CA. I was a young newlywed, and Carolyn was so kind and welcoming to me. Years later, we moved back into that ward again, and she and I were able to enjoy three more years of a wonderful friendship. She was always loving, kind, compassionate, and a lot of fun to be with! I had no idea she’d moved to Utah, or I would have found her again. She was a wonderful person, one I’ll never forget.
