I am glad to have met and known David. I have only known him to be a kind and caring father, grandfather and friend. His life was spent in his final years with his family in one dwelling as he enjoyed his three beautiful grandsons every single day. I am thankful for memories of him interacting with all of us. And when Stephanie arranged for a professional photographer when we were all together in May 2018 I couldn't help but wonder if those would be the last pictures with him. God bless the Morris and Chavez families in your loss.

The most intelligent and loving man you could ever know! A genuine good man. Knew a little bit about everything and could teach you so much in one conversation. A kind good father and grandfather. Always asking you about your life and never concerned with his own. Blessed to know such a man. He will be greatly missed.
