Obituary of Mason Thomas Hunt

Mason Hunt, 26, passed away January 12, 2019 in Murray, Utah.  He was born July 9, 1992 to Timothy Robert Hunt and Lucinda Camp Hunt in Salt Lake City, Utah.

Mason proudly served in the US Marine Corp with tours in Iraq and Afghanistan.  He loved snowboarding, playing pool, the mountains and being outdoors.  He loved Bear his support dog. He loved animals and they loved him.  He was into Japanese culture and anime and video games.  He loved everything Japanese. He liked criminal profiling and wanted to be a criminal psychologist.  He always put everyone else first before himself.  He was accident prone and always wanted pictures of his scars.

Mason is survived by his parents, Timothy and Cindy Camp Hunt, Niki (Adam) Weaver, Charlie (Rachel) Hunt, Sam (Lindsey) Hunt, LauraKay (Abe) Lopez, Hyrum Hunt, Ella Podrug, Joseph Hunt, Abbi (Jarem) Safley, dearest friend, Sydney Yang, Grandparents Laura Camp & Arlene Lortie, Robert & Jeanie Hunt, and eleven nieces and nephews.  Mason was preceded in death by his grandfather, James Camp.

Funeral services will be held on Saturday, January 19, 2019 at 10 am at the Harbor 2nd Ward, 600 South 100 West, American Fork. A viewing will be held prior to the service from 8:30 am to 9:45 am at the church. Burial will take place on Sunday, January 20, 2019 at noon at Independent Order of Odd Fellows Cemetery south of town on highway 95 in Council, ID 83612. Please share a memory at andersonmortuary.com.
