Sister Wimmer was my babysitter for the first year of my life and always claimed me as her own. She was very dear, and I am sorry to hear of her passing. Much love to Leland and the family.

Dear Leland and Family; Learning of Evelyn's passing, I thought of how the Wimmer family was so representative of the goodness of the "old American Fork 3rd Ward." Memories are still clear regarding the faithfulness, kindness and ready smiles of both Evelyn and Leland. So many of the good people that comprised the membership of the 3rd ward - such as Sister Wimmer - have departed, but not without leaving fond memories of all who knew them, My guess is there is a 3rd ward reception planned "up there," and Glen and Lona Rhodes will be some of the first in line to welcome Evelyn home! I was so blessed to be her one and only daughter. It was a privilege to have been her caregiver and constant helper since she took ill in October 2017. She was my best friend and we could talk about anything. She was generous, kind and helped me in so many way. She was my inspiration to be the best at whatever I pursued. Prior to her illness, we had so many fun and happy times cruising, attending TOPS events. I'll miss you mom. Love DoriLynn
