Paul: Having known both of you in my youth I feel a great sense of loss for you and can appreciate the grief that you are experiencing. While I haven't had contact since my youth, I remember Christine as unique young woman. There was something different about her that I always admired and valued. She seemed calm, refined, gentle, generous and loyal. I remember my dad commenting about what a quality person she was as a teenager. My heart goes out to you and your family at this difficult time. I love the friends of my youth and you and Christine were friends indeed.

Paul, It has been years since I have seen you, but I just wanted to express my regrets on the passing of Christine. She always treated others with kindness. I remember being surprise on my mission when I heard you two were engaged.

I can only imagine the devastation your family must be experiencing. I never had the privilege of meeting Christine, but it sounds like she was a wonderful woman who left many wonderful memories for you to look back on. May these memories bring you comfort as you begin to heal. While words fail to capture the pain of losing a loved one, we look forward to the time when words fail to capture the joy of having our heavenly Father return your dear one to you. God's written word assures us that "there is going to be a resurrection" (Acts 24:15). Please accept my deepest sympathy and a warm invitation for you to find more comfort at www.jw.org

As a teenager in our neighborhood, Christine was a bright and shining star. It's hard to express how sad we are to hear of her passing. We love her and her parents and were saddened to hear of her illness. May our Heavenly Father's tenderest blessings be with Paul and her family.

Christine was my two-doors-down Oak Lane best friend. I have so many very wonderful memories of the Chris years. We sang and played guitar and piano together, walked to school, hiked all over Sundance, created delicious food and traveled together. Her mother, Celeste, was my second mother and her home a place of peace and love. Strange to think that she never met my husband, we never knew each other's children and had little contact after we married. Even though we have been apart for many years, I will miss her. What a gift it was to know her and share some time together in this life. Love and comfort to her family. The world is a better place because of Christine Nielsen Tippetts.

Christine was an amazing example to me as i was growing up. I remember her beautiful voice. In our WARD CHIOR that we had back in 1972 or 1973 that was directed by Ann, Christine sang with my sister Zina. I remember Zina telling me how much easier it was to sing on key with Christines clear voice beside her. She was always someone that if you followed her your life was easier.

When we moved to Oak Lane we were welcomed by the Nielsen family (older children and the ideal of the "little girl next door", Christine). She showed our children how to negotiate the neighborhood, including the wonders of "puppy-dog rock". We loved and love the Nielsens. We were joyful when Christine married Paul, we were sorry when our neighbors moved on to other neighborhoods, here and beyond. We are so glad Christine has been a part of our lives.

I've known Paul & Christine almost "forever" back in the Novell days. Our families went fishing together at Fish Lake that was a great experience. I got to know Christine back then and a year ago when I got some cutting boards for family members. Christine and I talked for quite a long time. A few months later Paul and I started to catch up and I found out just how sick she was when she took all that time to talk to me. I am so sorry Paul & family for your loss, heaven will be a little brighter with Christine's presence. I know that doesn't lessen your loss.

What a gift it was to grow up in the same neighborhood and ward community as Christine and Paul. I remember Christine so well from her early youth, petite and gracious, always smiling, lovely and gentle. Her gifts of graciousness blessed our neighborhood, even when she was a child. Paul, and children, and grandchildren, our love, our caring and our sympathy are with each of you at this tender time. Thank you for sharing your lovely Mother and delightful Father with me as "Tree Street Friends" forever. May you be blessed and comforted and strengthened in all of those times when you will miss her so. With my love, and caring, Terri Fisher Jensen
