Richard taught me just about everything I used in construction survey from 1972 to 1986 while working at Power Plants in Emery county, Utah and Humboldt county, Nevada. I worked with Bud And him for 15 years.

I remember being able to help out as a young lady. By going over to there house and taking care of the yard ever week for them. Richard was my step grandpa. Richard I will miss you love ya

He was full of joy and wisdom, I remember spending the weekend with my grandpa Richard and grandma Elaine and sister Courtney Houston. We all went fishing on his boat we took it up to flaming gorge, had a picnic spent the weekend in Vernal, and had fun, grandma Elaine and I made a lemon cake, well I decided to put an extra lemon in and wow haha it was zingy! It had a bite to the cake. I sure do miss those moments. He will be missed dearly!
