I have fondest memories of time spent with David. I'm grateful to have known him and I am grateful that he was my friend for so many years. Now he is where he can have peace with his loved ones. My condolences to his family and those who loved him.

Not mentioned in the obituary above is the extra-special attendance and care given by his sister Carol Carter and brother Lincoln Coombs who went above and beyond to be with him and attend to his needs and wants. We love David and are happy he is in a better place!

Thank you for your kind words about me. I loved David then and feel love for him now. I agree with the family that he was a great and noble spirit who came to earth to teach the rest of us. I was honored to be his friend. I remember he would always say: "Maybe tomorrow huh?" and we would laugh together. I guess that was a phrase he learned as a little boy when the family was serving a mission. He was a tender guy with a big heart. I only hope I can live my life to be able to be worthy to see him again. May heaven bless you dear family of David Coombs. Jay Steineckert
