Obituary of Keaton Orlan Smith
Keaton Orlan Smith, born January 4, 2000, returned to his Father in Heaven on Friday, November 24, 2017, surrounded by his loving family. Those who knew Keaton remember him for his contagious smile, his caring nature for everyone and his ability to lift others. He wanted to make a difference and has left that legacy behind. Keaton was a senior at American Fork High School. Keaton loved football. He started playing football in 5th grade and continued to be a proud member of the American Fork High School Football team. Keaton was the definition of a team player and loved his coaches and his teammates. He is survived by his parents Kirk and Rebecca Smith, Chalyce and Kiel Coomes; siblings Kenzy (Jake) Horsley, Karissa (Anthony) Cassiero, Kaden, Kanyon, Koa, and Kailer Smith; Josh (Kelsy), Zakk, Chandler and Gabe Coomes; nephew, Lucas; Grandparents, Stanley and Mary Kaye Smith, Eugene and Vivi-Ann Devenport, David and Leona Gray, Zoe Coomes, Gladys Coomes; and numerous aunts, uncles, cousins and friends. Thank you to all those involved in his medical care including the First Responders and medical staff at Utah Valley Regional Medical Center, American Fork High School, the community, and many others that have reached out to the family. Keaton will be greatly missed. For anyone that knows him, you feel his loss. Keep his legacy alive! #carelikekeat Funeral services will be held at 11:00 am on Thursday, November 30, 2017 at the Pleasant Grove West Stake Center, 56 South 1300 West in Pleasant Grove. A viewing will be held prior to the service from 9:45 – 10:45 am. Anderson & Sons Mortuary, 49 East 100 North, Am. Fork will host a viewing on Wednesday, November 29 from 6:00 – 8:00 pm.
