Connie has been my kind and loving friend over the years; her eyes twinkled at the least provocation and her giggle always brightened my day. Her love for life and gift of being there for and helping others is a testament of her angelic nature. Long ago when my daughter asked what it meant to be Christlike, I told her it was being like Connie.
Her long awaited reunion with her mother, father, brother, and her husband as well as countless friends and other family members who have gone on before make this transition easier for me to bear and I hope that these thoughts are helpful to the family she left behind.
Connie, I hate saying good-bye. Until we meet again.
