Obituary of Terry Lee Scott

Terry Lee Scott, age 61, passed away November 19, 2018.  He was born on June 18, 1957 to Leo Henry Scott and Donna Lorae Keisel Scott in Mt Pleasant, Utah.  His first home was a log cabin in Manti, Utah.  He later lived for many years at the Utah State Developmental Center where he received much love and care.  Terry was mischievous and enjoyed teasing others.  His favorite things were malts, books, and going for rides and walks.  He loved shopping for books at DI and being outside in nature.  Terry was a gentle soul who looked very dapper in his favorite hat and suspenders.

Terry is survived by his brothers Jeff and Jerry Scott, uncles Buddy Kiesel, Timothy Kiesel, and Dee Kiesel, his aunt Dixie James, cousins Ronnie James, Carol James, and Travis Simpson, nephew Shye Scott, and nieces Joni Sprouse and Jamie Murray.  He was preceded in death by his parents.

Funeral services will be held Wednesday, November 28, 2018 at 1:30 p.m. in the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints Chapel located on the campus of the Utah State Developmental Center, 835 North 900 East, American Fork.  A viewing will be held from 12:15 to 1:15 p.m. prior to the services at the church.  Please share a memory at andersonmortuary.com.
