We loved Marjorie and Winston in our Temple sealing group. We would eat at the Lion House before and walk through those beautiful gardens to the Temple. The peace their is wonderful and I know that Marji has now found that peace. I will miss her friendship and visiting in her lovely back yard that she kept so well. Best wishes to the sweet family that she treasured.

Aunt Marj and I got on really well and everyone thought we were the most alike. I loved my stay with her in Salt Lake, she loved to serve us and I really enjoyed her stories about her life, she made me laugh!
I have lots of memories of her visits to England. Although she loved and always felt connected to her English heritage, she also loved the comforts of the life she had in Salt Lake and would amuse us often by bringing to our attention how backward we were in England, and how my mum ought to have a dishwasher!
On her last visit my kids and I ate fish and chips in the car while she made it clear that they had upset Winstons digestion the day before so she didn't want any (being an advocate for healthy eating) however, she kept commenting on how good they smelled and asked us if they would be greasy, to which my son cheekily replied "definitely, that's what makes them so tasty!, We have the best fish and chips in Yorkshire!" She succumbed with no further persuasion and asked us to go back and get her a small portion which she devoured in delight!
My dad loved her very much. It was a wonderful thing for him to have his 2 sisters join with him in accepting the gospel that meant so much to him. We are so happy that she stayed faithful to the end and that she will have had a joyful reunion with her 2 brothers, and her 2 sisters, one who had downs syndrome who will now be perfect, friends from England and many more.

When I was 20 I saved up to visit America for the Summer and stay with my Auntie Marji. Thanks for her hospitality - she had a few signature dishes - a fabulous omelette, pancakes and fruit for breakfast and a sloppy Joe. We had a great trip to San Diego - where I was temporarily stuck in Mexico. Marj was not pleased that we were late for the family Mexican meal! She took me on my first visit to Las Vegas and Disney world. I loved getting to know my cousin's and had such fun with Anne-Marie. I visited a couple more times with Rob and enjoyed an Easter egg hunt in the garden - which created a tradition at my home when Samuel grew up. I'm so glad that Marj is with my dad and many others in her family. What a lovely reunion.
