Lois lived a life of service and love for her family. In her later years, she suffered because of a debilitating stroke and was unable to walk. She loved to laugh, never complained, and was always grateful and overjoyed when a member of her family came to visit.
She was born to George Vaughan Williams and Grace Marie Martin in Cleveland, Ohio. She was married to Eldon Lee Kissee and later divorced. She married Darrel James Shoemake who proceeded her in death.
Her sister Pat Scott Warner (Bob) also preceded her in death.
Lois had two wonderful sons: Dana Vaughan Kissee (Alison Chuntz (divorced) and Janette Kissee) and Jeffrey Lee Kissee (Shari Lobben Kissee).
Her grandchildren were the joy of her life; Jennifer Kissee Hanley (Michael), Jillian Kissee, Jamie Kissee Mouzoon (Cameron) Caitlyn Ann Kissee, Joni Ann (deceased), Jamie Ann (deceased), Jeremy Lee Kissee (deceased), Joshua Vaughan Kissee (Danielle) and Jesse Francis Kissee (Vivian).
Three great grandchildren; McKayla Marie Kissee, William Vaughan Kissee, and Jack Hanley.
Our family wishes to thank Orchard Park Rehab in Orem for their loving care of our mother, grandma and great grandmother. They were Lois’s second family.
