Obituary of Kathleen Cook Calahan
Kathleen Cook Calahan, age 62, passed away on June 12, 2018 in Provo, Utah. She was born August 4, 1955 in American Fork, Utah to Marvin R and Mern Ross Cook.
Kathleen was passionate about family history and being a mother of 2 sons. She was a lively, loyal friend to all. Best words to describe her are kind and compassionate. She was a resident in American Fork, Tooele, Kearns, Taylorsville and Highland.
She is survived by her mother, Mern; her two sons Shawn Jason (Janette) Calahan, Eric Mathew (Chelsea) Calahan; siblings Carla Jean Cook Zimmerman, and Brent Marvin Cook, 2 grandsons Bruce and Ryan, 2 granddaughters Charlotte “Charlie”, and Taya. Kathleen was preceded in death by her father, Marvin, and siblings Sherrie Lynn Curtis and Blaine Ross Cook.
Funeral services will be held Monday, June 18, 2018 at 11 a.m. in the Highland 7th Ward building at 5212 West Country Club Drive, Highland. A viewing will be held Sunday from 6-8 p.m. at Anderson & Sons Mortuary, 49 East 100 North, American Fork and Monday from 9:45-10:45 a.m. at the church. Burial will be in American Fork Cemetery.
