Winsome was born in Alpine, Utah on November 13th, 1982 to Colin and June Grant. She studied at Utah Valley University before working in real estate and sports marketing. Her two daughters and husband were a constant light and source of joy in her life.

Winsome was a person of variety and color; she played many roles for many different people. Her influence and reach of personality touched those she came into contact with throughout her travels across the country and beyond. As the youngest of 7 older siblings, Winsome was nothing if not fierce, competitive, and larger than life. Her childhood and young adult life were punctuated by accolades as an accomplished gymnast, Scottish dancing, and ballroom dancer; disciplines which saw her traveling around the globe for international competitions. At her best, Winsome had the rare quality of embodying her name-sake, with those close to her describing her as having a heart of gold, a contagiously generous laugh, and an indomitable spirit and love for life. She will be missed and remembered fondly by her friends and family.
