Obituary of Barbara Whiteman Morehouse

Barbara Whiteman Morehouse, 67, loving wife, mother, sister, aunt & daughter, passed away May 29, 2018 in West Jordan, Utah.  She was born March 4, 1951 in Salt Lake City, Utah to Robert Whiteman and Alice Hone Whiteman, but raised in American Fork, Utah. She married Russell Gumbrecht and later they divorced.  Barbara then married Daniel Jesse Morehouse on August 12, 2000 in West Valley, Utah.

Barbara was an active member of the Daughter of the Utah Pioneers.  She served in Toastmasters as an area president. She was a proud graduate of American Fork High School.

She is survived by her husband Daniel, her daughter Elizabeth Gumbrecht; Siblings: Robert (Margaret) Wright; Bill (Jan) Whiteman; David (Sheree) Whiteman; and Kathy Nelson.

Funeral services will be held Wednesday, June 6, 2018 at 11 a.m. in the Anderson & Sons Mortuary Chapel, 49 East 100 North, American Fork.  A viewing will be held Tuesday from 6-8 p.m. and Wednesday from 9:45-10:45 a.m. prior to the services.  Burial will be in American Fork Cemetery.  Please share a memory at andersonmortuary.com.
