I am so sorry for your loss. Velvadean will be missed but not forgotten. Jesus' words at John 5:28,29 show that there will be a resurrection. There he said: "Do not be amazed at this, for the hour is coming in which all those in the memorial tombs will hear his voice and come out." This means that Velvadean will be given a fresh new start with the prospect of living forever. May you find comfort in knowing you have an opportunity to see her again, and at that time "no resident will say: 'I am sick'" (Isaiah 33:24). Please accept my deepest sympathy and a warm invitation for you to find more comfort at jw.org

Our thoughts and love go out to Russell and the family. It was a pleasure knowing Velvadean, with her quick smile, and gentle nature. Always had a kind word to say about someone, and looked for the best in everyone. We appreciated having her in the neighborhood and she will truly be missed by everyone.

Vel worked with me at Dan Peterson for years. I love her and will miss her so much. She will be my friend here and in heaven. I can't wait to see her again. I am so sorry for you loss. Velvadean is a great lady.
