We were saddened to learn of John's sudden passing. I have the fondest memories of John when he was our Sunday School teacher in Montebello when I was about 10 or 11 years old. All of us kids thought he was really cool. He was always cheerful, and he made us all feel as if we were special. He was a beloved cousin growing up in Southern California. John was the sweetest man I ever had the privilege of working with. He would always say 'Here, these will brighten your day' and hand me some wintergreen lifesavers with a smile and a twinkle in his eye. I only worked with him for this past year, but I never saw him frown or heard him complain. He was always good to everyone. We will miss him at the American Fork Home Depot!
