Obituary of Petrita Dorado Fierro

Petrita Fierro, 49, of American Fork, passed away on May 14, 2018 after a courageous battle with cancer.  She was born on June 7, 1968, the daughter of Jesus and Margarita Dorado.  She married the love of her life, Elisandro Fierro, on July 1, 1989 in Elberta, Utah.  Petrita loved her family and dedicated her life to their health and happiness through constant love and sacrifice.  She was a woman of faith whose love of God radiated from her in her unending hope and joy for life.  Her beautiful smile, unconditional love, and kindhearted wisdom will be missed by many.  She is survived by her loving husband; 4 daughters: Jasmine (Alonso) Fierro-Maciel, Angelica Fierro, Diana Fierro, Julia Fierro; her parents, 2 sisters, 3 brothers; and many others whose lives she touched with her kindness.  Funeral services will be held on Friday, May 18, 2018 at 2:00 pm at St. Francis of Assisi Catholic Church, 65 East 500 North, Orem, Utah.  A viewing will be held on Thursday from 6 to 8 pm at Anderson & Sons Mortuary, 49 East 100 North, Am. Fork and from 1 to 1:45 pm on Friday at the Church.  The burial will be at the American Fork Cemetery.  Please share a memory at andersonmortuary.com.
