Obituary of Judith Corry Liddle
Judith Corry Liddle passed away October 28, 2017 after a short battle with a rare brain disorder. She was born in Cedar City, Utah on September 21st to Elwood & Florence Corry. Judy graduated in Elementary Education from USU. She taught school in Oregon, Nevada, Ohio, Colorado, and Utah. She met her husband Joseph D. Liddle while doing post graduate work at BYU. They were married June 18, 1965 in the St. George Temple.
Judy loved the gospel and fulfilled many callings including ward Young Women’s president, working in the baptistry of the Mount Timpanogos temple, Stake Relief Society President, and, at the time of her death, she was serving with her husband in the American Fork Hospital Branch as a pastoral volunteer.
She and her husband loved to travel and arranged many family trips with their children and grandchildren. Judy especially loved trips to Hawaii and Europe. She was famous for her homemade bread and rolls and taught her children and grandchildren how to make them as well.
Judy was kind and loving to all who knew her and was always making new friends. She will be missed by all.
Judy is survived by her husband, Joseph D. Liddle, her children: Julie (Daniel) Burnett, Jeffrey Scott, and Jay Trent, six grandchildren, and her six siblings. She was preceded in death by her son Joseph Brent Liddle.
Funeral services will be held, Friday, November 3, 2017 at 11 a.m. in the LDS Chapel located at 270 North 900 East, American Fork. A viewing will be held Thursday from 6-8 p.m. at Anderson & Sons Mortuary, 49 East 100 North, American Fork and Friday at the church from 9:30-10:30 a.m. prior to the services. Burial will be in the Highland Cemetery.
