Obituary of Samuel Douglas Weaver
Samuel Douglas Weaver
Birth - October 13, 2017 (10:33:31 p.m.) – Death – October 24, 2017 (4:10 a.m.)
He weighed 7 lbs 7 oz and was 21 inches long.
He died peacefully in Mommy's arms, during the night, at home, from Hypoplastic Heart Syndrome and Heterotaxy Syndrome. (A two chambered, re-wired heart, and organs rearranged).
Samuel was hugged and kissed and told “I love you” many many times while in Mommy's tummy, and many many times outside of Mommy's tummy. We were all so happy to welcome him to our family for his short stay.
Samuel's physical anomalies were known about since May 2017, and our family has been able to do much to prepare for Samuel's short stay here on earth.
Samuel is the son of Patrick Trajan Weaver and Janille Kathryn Weaver.
He is survived by 2 sisters and 1 brother: Kathryn Belle Weaver, Rachael Eve Weaver, Daniel Patrick Weaver. Surviving grandparents: Trajan and Karen Weaver, Robyn Sanks, Great-Grandma Joyce Evans. Preceded in death by grandpa: Gary Keith Sanks.
He was born lovingly at home in the water, in Lehi, UT.
Such a beautiful baby. He was so strong for 1 week. He would keep his hands close to his face. He would hold his fingers around our fingers. He latched on to nurse very well, and went from bottle to nursing beautifully. He would cry when his diaper got changed, and he didn't like to get a bath. He was almost always in somebody's arms, and even his first checkup with the midwife was in Mommy's arms.
Brother and sisters loved to hold their baby brother, and give him kisses throughout the day.
Celebration of Life Memorial in place of a funeral will be in Lehi on Saturday, November 4, 2017 11:30-2 open house style. Samuel's cremation urn will be at the memorial service at the home of Patrick and Janille Weaver.
Samuel was able to fulfill his mission to receive a body here on earth, and gain a little bit of experience. He even learned what a big burp feels like. He was courageous and perfect.
Our family is grateful for the Eternal Plan Of Salvation, and we look forward to the millennium when we can see Samuel grow up. Until then, Samuel will be our family's angel.
