Shanna Fay Rowley Wagstaff
Shanna Fay Rowley Wagstaff, 55, of American Fork passed away on October 13, 2017 in Provo, Utah, due to injuries she sustained in a motorcycle accident on October 11, 2017. Born May 3, 1962 in Provo, Utah the daughter of Winford Smith Rowley Sr. and Minnie Lee Odie Flowers. She married Gary Lynn Wagstaff April 11, 1986 in American Fork, Utah.
Shanna was devoted to her family and lived her life in service to others. She enlisted in the Utah National Guard in her junior year of high school and served for 6 years. She later married the love of her life who had 3 children ranging from ages 6-13. They then welcomed 3 more children in 3 short years. Shanna chose a profession in the service of others. She worked as a Certified Nurses Assistant in elderly care and in-home health. Shanna loved the outdoors. As a teen she hunted and hiked with her father and later took every opportunity available to be outdoors with her husband. She enjoyed hot springing, scenic drives, motorcycle rides, and exploring new places. Shanna sought every opportunity to be with her family. She was the master at organizing family affairs and someone you could always depend on. She took pride in her exceptional ability to cook. Shanna was a resilient and assertive person. She will be greatly missed and we will always have her in our hearts.
Survived by her husband Gary, her children Brandon (Carmen)Wagstaff; Cody Wagstaff; Stacy Wagstaff; Amber (Jed) Horton; Christy (Hampton) Hampton; Cassie (Jeramiah) McDonald; 13 grandchildren; her siblings Sherry Casper; Lamont Rowley; Kevin Rowley; and Gale Behrmann. She is preceded in death by her parents and her siblings Winford Rowley Jr.; Wesley Rowley; Cindy Rowley; and Curtis Rowley.
Funeral services will be held Thursday October 19, 2017 at 11:00 am in the American Fork 8th Ward, 300 North 100 East. A visitation will be held Wednesday from 6 to 8 pm at the Anderson & Sons Mortuary, 49 East 100 North, Am. Fork and from 9:45 to 10:45 am Thursday prior to the services at the church.
