Obituary of Jean Bowers Wood

Jean Bowers Wood, 84, of Pleasant Grove, passed away October 13, 2017 in Saratoga Springs. Born June 2, 1933 in Orderville, Utah the daughter of Christopher Heaton and Fay Stevens Bowers. She married Noland Mark Wood June 5, 1952 In Burley, Idaho. Jean was an independent spirit who lived life her way. She loved to sew, read and do counted cross stitch. She loved her family especially her great grandchildren, her “babies”. She is survived by her children: Cindy (Ron) Nielsen; Kerry Wood; LeeAnn (Don) Chadsey; April Merritt; 32 grandchildren 15 great grandchildren and her sister Beverly Wengreen. She is preceded in death by her husband (Noland), parents, and two sisters Idona Barnes and Gloria Leavitt.
