Obituary of Brigitte Marie Isabelle Therese Radford

Brigitte Marie Radford, 68, passed away April 1, 2017 in Sandy, Utah.  Born May 17, 1948 in Poitier, France to Raymond Charles Sebastian Sandillon and Jacqueline Marie Isabelle Cartier Sandillon. Brigitte Marie Radford, 68, passed away April 1, 2017 in Sandy, Utah.  Born May 17, 1948 in Paris.

Years ago, Brigitte was nicknamed "Sweetie" by her grandchildren. A fitting name for such a sweet lady. She was known for her generosity and unconditional love. Sweetie loved lots of things but she especially loved being outside, her family, music and photos.  She never went anywhere without her camera and you had only to look through her many, many collections of photos to see that she was happiest when out in nature or surrounded by her kids and grandkids. Family was always front and center of her world. However, it didn't take much to earn yourself a place in Sweetie's heart. She was famous for befriending just about anyone.
She was the type of person who would arrive as a stranger and leave as a new friend

She could strike up a conversation anywhere with anyone.
She opened her home to anyone who needed it and was happy to do so. She loved to care for and give to others. Whether it be a hot meal, open door, ear to listen, or a life lesson to give – she was always there.

Her family will hold close the memories of her fun French accent, many songs she loved, always listening to music, her encouragement to help those around you, her many stories and her countless teachings. If you were with Sweetie you knew you were expected to pitch in and help and to use your manners!
Sweetie has left her mark in numberless ways and will never be forgotten.

She is survived by her mother: Jacqueline  children: J.P. (Jennifer) Whiting, Elijah Radford, and Natalie (Aaron) Davenport, 9 grandchildren, siblings: Christine, Clothilde, and Jean-Paul Sandillon.  She was preceded in death by her father and a granddaughter.
