Obituary of Susie Rebecca Brookshear Dearman

Susie Rebecca Brookshear Dearman passed peacefully in her home, surrounded by family and caregivers, on March 21, 2018 to be reunited in Heaven with her husband, Jack Dearman; parents Brunner Wesley and Jess Gene Brookshear; and older brothers BW (Peggy) Brookshear, Jr. and Dan (Katie) Brookshear.

Susie will always be remembered as a gentle soul with a delightful Southern accent. She loved feeding the birds in her yard, her weekly outings to the Orem Senior Friendship Center, and collecting angels and bells. Sunday Dinner won't be the same without Grandma Susie.

Susie is survived by her daughter and son-in-law, Mary Wesley and William (Bill) Street; her grandchildren Sydney (Jake) Burnside, Madison (Nic) Woods, MaKenzie (Jake) Hager, Theron Street, Ysabelle Street, Jeremy Street, and Joshua Street; and her eight great grandchildren.

A Memorial Service is planned for Saturday, March 24, 2018 with Gathering and Greeting at 10:00 am followed by a Service at 11:00 am. At Susie’s request, she will be buried next to her husband in his home state of Mississippi.
