Franchesca Loveless

Obituary of Franchesca Farr Baker Loveless

Franchesca Farr Baker Loveless, 37, passed away May 16, 2017 at home surrounded by those who loved her after a valiant battle with cancer.  Born July 2, 1979 in Provo, Utah the daughter of Frank Farr and Nibia Renee Balsamo Baker.  She married Jamin Loveless December 21, 1999 in Provo, Utah. On August 15 2004 they had a son, Corbin Benjamin Loveless. They later divorced.

Franchesca loved the outdoors. She would spend hours hiking or just meditating in nature. This is where she was truly in her element. It recharged her soul and gave her peace. Having an artistic soul, Franchesca loved decorating cakes, making jewelry, and writing poetry.  She always did things her way which was usually completely different than the rest of the world. She loved to be unique. Franchesca always saw the best in the world and the best in everyone. She is the most forgiving person we have ever known. She was a loving mother, daughter, sister and aunt. She was also an amazing friend to all.

Franchesca was strong willed, even as a child. She did not hesitate to challenge the very notion something was impossible for her. Even the diagnosis of breast cancer could not derail her. She was determined from the very beginning that cancer was NOT in charge. She never relented; looking for any treatments, options or possibilities that she could overcome this disease. Even when the odds started to stack against her, she never lost faith. She believed that life was magical. Nothing reinforced this more than when her son, Corbin was born. He is living proof that love has no bounds, limits, or conditions. Franchesca persevered through her obstacles in life, endured them well, and has found her way home.

Her loving family members are her son Corbin Loveless; her parents Frank and Renee Baker; siblings:  Raquel (David) Skelton; Lanet Crismon; Michelle (Shane) Lawrence; Frank Jr.(Erin) Baker; Skylar (Amy) Baker; her significant other Matthew Gillin and many nieces and nephews who loved her dearly.  Funeral services will be held Monday May 22, 2017 at 11:00 a.m. in the Lindon 13th Ward, 325 Canal Drive  (600 east), Lindon, UT.  A viewing will be held at the church Monday from 9:45 to 10:45 a.m. prior to the services.  Interment will be at the Lindon city cemetery.
