Obituary of Gloria E'Loyse Hansen Humphries
Gloria E’Loyse Hansen Humphries passed away February 22, 2018 in Highland, Utah. Born June 25, 1925 in Provo, Utah to Wilford Christopher Hansen and Florence Amelia Anakin Hansen. She married Robert Fred Humphries on August 17, 1943. Their marriage was later solemnized in the Salt Lake Temple on November 26, 1963.
E’Loyse graduated from American Fork High School. She was an accomplished violinist and played at her High School graduation as well as funerals, weddings, and various church functions.
Together, E’Loyse and Robert ran Floral Supply & Humphries Floral then expanded to include bedding plants on 5th East in American Fork. Later, Bob worked for the Ball Seed Co. and E’Loyse would work by his side doing office work.
Bob and E’Loyse had two children Robert Don (Catherine) Humphries and Patricia
(Neal) Smith, 7 grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her husband, her Mom and Dad, 3 brothers and 1 sister. She is survived by her two children.
We would like to thank the Charleston in Cedar Hills for all the help and care that was given to our Mom during her stay there.
Funeral services will be held Wednesday February 28, 2018 at 11:00 a.m. at the Anderson & Sons Mortuary on 49 East 100 North, American Fork. A viewing will be held Tuesday from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. at the same place and before the funeral from 9:45 to 10:45 a.m. Burial will be in the American Fork Cemetery.
