Obituary of Clifford Wayne Edwards
Clifford Wayne Edwards, beloved husband and father, passed away on September 4, 2017 at his home in Highland, Utah. He was 89 years old.
He was born on June 16, 1928 in Fort Dodge, Iowa. He was the fourth of ten children born to Chester Leroy Edwards and Bonita Magdalena Bowen. As a young adult, Cliff moved to Southern California where he met and married his sweetheart Barbara May Fox. They were married on August 12, 1949 in Los Angeles, California. They were married 68 years.
Cliff enjoyed the outdoors. He liked to work in his shop in the garage and was very skilled at repairing things. He was also a skilled mechanic. He was a hard worker and a man of great integrity. He was a devoted husband and father of six children. He now has 21 grandchildren and 27 great grandchildren. His love and sense of humor will be missed by all who loved him.
Cliff is survived by his wife Barbara and their children Shirley Mann of Pleasant Grove, UT, Patty (Dan) Stran of American Fork, UT, Wayne (Janet) Edwards of Huntington Beach, CA, Kay (Dennis) Norman of American Fork, UT, Karen (Brian) Baugh of Huntington Beach, CA and Ken Edwards of Petaluma, CA.
He is also survived by his sisters Pat Sleiter, Joyce Hansen and Marilyn Torgerson all of Humboldt, IA, Helen Thorson of Clarinda, IA and Judi Pedersen of Harlan, IA.
Cliff was preceded in death by his parents, his brother Jack Edwards, his sisters Marian Edwards, Jean Watts and Donna Grebner and his grandson Rodney Mann.
He will be laid to rest in the American Fork, Utah cemetery.
