My beloved great Aunt Helen...She is my heart and soul at Christmas time. She created a safe place for all to visit and cook for. I will never forget her as her unconditional love for all is deeply embedded in me and my memories. She made my favorite birthday cake and brought me soup when my son was sick. She hugged, laughed and had a smile that penetrated the darkest days. She was an example of womanhood and mothering to me always. Those who knew and loved her will carry her legacy always. She was a gem of a human being. I will never forget her. Her life and light shine inside of me to this day and always will.
