Obituary of Betty Jane Rockhill Hayes

Betty Jane Hayes American Fork, Grant City, Missouri and Wendover, NV Betty passed away July 26, 2014. Mom was born May 19, 1930 in Oakland, California to Walter Lloyd Rockhill and Hazel Isabell Bennett. She was the oldest of three children. Mom was a person of simple pleasures. she showed love and laughter to everyone. Mom is preceded in death by her eternal partner, Harry Frederick Hayes. They were married on Aug 25, 1956, Which was later solemnized in the Manti Temple on December 8, 1973. Mom is survived by her sons: Walter, Thomas (Virginia), James (Jackie), Timothy (Courtney), and Wayne (Judy); her daughters: Jennie (George) and Ruth (Pete); 24 grandchildren and 31 great grandchildren. Mom is preceded in death by the love of her life and eternity, her 3 daughters: Debbie (Bob), twins, Doreen and Loreen, her parents, daughter-in-law Susan, her brother Gene (Eleanor) and sister Dianna (Jack) and a great grandson, Scott. Mom wanted things simple so as per her wishes we will be having a viewing Wednesday from 6-8 p.m. at Anderson & Sons Mortuary, 49 East 100 North, American Fork. Then we will be transporting her to Wendover Cemetery for graveside services on Thursday at 4 p.m.
