Obituary of Lynn Christine Waterbury Hardy

Lynn Christine (Waterbury) Hardy, 63, beloved wife, mother, sister, grandmother, and aunt, passed away peacefully in her sleep at her home in American Fork, Utah on Wednesday, August 20, 2014. Born in Dixon, IL on Oct, 25, 1950. She is survived by her forever husband, David; her son, Jeff (Rachel); her five daughters: Terri (Matthew), Michelle, Christina, Andrea (David), and Heather; her brothers John Waterbury (Melinda) and Rick Waterbury (Theresa), as well as her 12 precious grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her father, Lafeyette Waterbury, her mother Gladys Marjorie Clark Waterbury Voland, and her stepfather Glen Voland. She was an active member in the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints and attended the American Fork 6th Ward. Our mother loved her Savior and her family fiercely. She was instantly loved by everyone she came in contact with. She lit up the room with her laugh, her smile warmed you to your very core, and her hugs relived any heartache. She was the most generous, thoughtful and compassionate woman; a true modern day pioneer. She taught us the meaning of unconditional love and what it truly means to be a family. We will miss you terribly, but not for too long. Families are forever, mom. We will meet you again, in heaven. Funeral services will be held on Saturday, Aug 23, 2014 at 3:00 p.m. in the American Fork 6th Ward Chapel, 300 North 100 East. A viewing will be held from 2:00 p.m. – 2:45 p.m. at the church prior to the service.
