I was saddened to hear about the passing of Sister Ula Hemingway.
She was a wonderful role model for me as a youth. I have many happy memories of her. Her zest for life, service to others and strong testimony will live on in the hearts of so many. Sending love and prayers to her family.

Dear Ula's Family,
Having lived in Alpine for 36 years and raising our family there we had many contacts with Ula and Bob. One of those memories that pretty much describes Ula and her comittment to get things done. I was serving as Mayor in 1996 when the Utah State Centenniel was celebrated and Ula wanted to celebrate Alpines birthday. I told her it would be better to wait three years and celebrate Alpine's 150th, She quickly responded that she may not be around in three more years. We were both right but she had the celebration along with the States. She was a bundle of energy when she thought of something she wanted to support. She will be missed by all but mostly by her family - may you find peace and comfort from our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ.
Love, Joyce & Joel

First, let me say I'm sorry I didn't listen to the prompting a to come and see you. I kept brushing them aside, now I know why I was getting them.
Second, thank you for your guidance, care, and love. You took me in, as though I were one of your own. You have provided me with such a shining example of Christ-like love though your service, I can only hope to live up to such example. Thank you for your service especially to our country, our service men and women, and our youth. There is not one person who can fill your shoes, it would literally take an army of people to do the same amount of good you have completed in your earthly life.
Thank you and may you be free so see (yay) while you continue to work on the other side of the veil...
All my love,
B-Jo

Sorry we cannot be there to say goodbye. You were such an asset to the VFW/Auxiliary. Thank you for your shining example of a patriot, good citizen, compassionate friend and Christ like love for all. We are sure you are already busy beyond the veil and will be for eternity. You will be missed here on this earth but remembered with much love.
