When I think of our dad I think of a man with a great sense of humor, a man that loved his daughters & did everything in his power (along with mother) to teach us the important things in life. Work hard, do it right the first time, because you don't have time to do it twice, treat people with respect & things with care. When you have to work hard to earn money to buy something it will mean much more to you to take care. Tell the truth, look at the beauty that surrounds us, give more than you take and be loyal to your family & don't sass mom!! We will miss you dad, but we will see you again, and for that we are eternally grateful. We love you and the fun and goodness you brought to our lives. Til we embrace again, Michelle

One of our best memories are of a fish fry at the park and being invited to a family dinner. I always admired Wayne's work ethic. He will be sorely missed. Our condolences to you Bev and your family for your loss.

Oh how I loved my dad! I was the boy he never had , therefore he turned me into a tomboy. He taught me how to mow a lawn to perfection and to take care of what one has, no matter the value. He taught me how to bait a hook, cast halfway across the lake and to catch my limit as fast as I can. He loved me unconditionally and helped me in any way he could. He was a hard worker and a very good provider. He was a firm disciplinary and I had to answer to him many times when coming in late from a date. He wanted nothing but the best for me. These last few months were very difficult for him and he expressed to me how much he appreciated the wheelchair rides I gave him. He always showed appreciation and never wanted to be a burden to anyone. I am so blessed to have had him in my life for so many years but feel great pain already that he is gone. Love, Kathryn (daughter)

Michelle and Renae,
Many memories flashed through my mind this morning when I read about Uncle Wayne. I hope life finds you all well if not a little sadder for the lost of your Dad. Love to you all, Susan Haws
