Obituary of Lloyd Migliaccio
Lloyd F Migliaccio, 87 of American Fork, passed away October 19, 2014 at his home surrounded by his family. Born June 11, 1927 in Price Utah the son of Frank and Crystal Stringham Migliaccio. He married Phylis Taylor August 7, 1945 in Price, Utah she preceded him in death February 19. 2009.
Lloyd was drafted and served in the Navy during WWII and served off the coast of China. He worked for Geneva Steel for 35 + years as a brick mason. He was the 1st Past President and founding member of the FOE 3372 in Pleasant Grove.
He was very generous, honest, and always willing to lend a helping hand. He was an avid sports fan, loved camping with his family and was an excellent bare foot water skier in his younger years.
Lloyd and Phylis had 6 children: Ronald Migliaccio, Linda Forbes; Sharon (Val) Chipman; Carrie (Bill) Prestwich; Kim Migliaccio; Todd (Cally) Migliaccio; 22 grandchildren 60 + great grandchildren and 10 +great great grandchildren.
Preceded in death by his wife, four grandsons, one great grandson, a son-in-law Paul, his parents and his brother William.
Funeral services will be held Saturday October 25, 2014 at 12 noon in the Anderson & Sons Mortuary, 49 East 100 North, Am. Fork where friends may call from 10:45 to 11:45 a.m. prior to the services. Burial in the American Fork Cemetery. The family would like to thank Envision Hospice and his nurse Shelly and all of the family that helped take care of him.
