Obituary of Lyle Mayne Peterson
Lyle Mayne Peterson, 86, passed away November 27, 2014, in Orem, Utah. Born July 31, 1928 to George Leroy and Josephine Marian (Beck) Mayne. She married Lowe Neal Peterson November 1, 1947 in American Fork. Later their marriage was sealed for time and all eternity on Feb. 28, 1987 in the Provo LDS Temple. Lyle worked for the State Developmental Center for many years, she love working with her special children. Lowe her husband passed away Sept. 25, 1972.
The love of Lyle's life was her family. She cherished us all, and our lives were blessed by her loving ways. Lyle would give, forgive and forget. Always thinking of others first and her needs second, if at all. She will be missed by all who had the honor of knowing her. Lyle was truly Christ like in the way she lived her life. She will be missed for now, but never forgotten.
She is survived by her children: Neal M. (Rosemary) Peterson, Jeanette (Kelly) Astle, Marijo Hansen, Rex M. (Tina) Peterson, Charles M. (Amy) Peterson, sister-in-law Joyce Mayne, 17 grandchildren, 30 great grandchildren, 4 great great grandchildren. Lyle was preceded in death by her husband, Lowe, Son Ted, daughter Kathleen Perides Libman, son-in-law Keith Hansen, grandson Corey Marshall, 8 brothers and 3 sisters.
Funeral services will be held, Tuesday, December 2, 2014 at 12:00 Noon at Anderson & Sons Mortuary Chapel, 49 East 100 North, American Fork. A viewing will be held Monday from 6-8 p.m. and Tuesday from 10:45-11:45 a.m. prior to the service. Burial in American Fork Cemetery.
