Jerry Grover and I had the pleasure of doing an oral history interview with W. O. Nelson several years ago at his home in Twin Falls. He had a lot of stories about all of his assignments with Fish and Wildlife Service and Animal Damage Control (Wildlife Services), and lots of photos and memorabilia of those times. He was a delightful man and I thoroughly enjoyed our time with him. The transcription of his oral history interview is available at the National Conservation Training Center in Shepherdstown, WV.

I have many memories of visiting my Uncle Bill and Aunt Ellen and remember fondly trips to New Mexico and later with my own children to his home in Twin Falls. He shared his skull collection and stories of his bear rug with me, and later my husband and children. He always made us feel welcome and important. He was a wonderful man.
