So sorry to read of Nolan's passing in "Ely Times". Ruth will never be the same. Remember well his folks and dear brother Billy & still visit Doyle occasionally. Sorry we missed your family, Daisy, but many good memories, even though we were gone many years. Have much Howes genealogy if family interested.

Brother Howes was a kind, gentle, loving man! We loved him as a stake president, and he never, never failed to stop and say hi and talk a minute then or later when we'd see him. Heaven definitely is a brighter place with him there. Our prayers are with Daisy and the family.

Nolan and Daisy will always be two of our favorite people. Ron spent a lot of years serving with Nolan in the stake and he admired him so much. What a glorious day it was to him to return to his Heavenly Father. I know he heard the words -- "Thou true and faithful servant". We will all miss him so much.

I have known brother Howes for my entire life. I went to school with mark from kindergarten through the 12th grade. He treated me like a son. I've known him as a Bishop stake president and a great friend. I could spend hours talking great things about this great nan. May the good lord bless you this at and always. May there be blessing of the spirit of the lord with the Howes family at this time. May God be with you till we meet again

We know Bro. Nolan from 2003, and he is everything his obituary and more. He was my teacher in High Priest group and it was like sitting at the feet of our Savior. Happy Journey my friend.
