Obituary of Philip Leslie Morgan

Philip Leslie Morgan Sr., 73, of American Fork passed away January 24 2015 in the American Fork Hospital. Born June 27, 1941 in Steamboat Springs, Colorado the son of Leslie Ray Morgan and Theda LaRue Blakeman. He married Mary Ann Rose Marconeri on June 6, 1964 in Oak Creek, CO. Phil loved to golf and bowl with his wife of 50 years. He also loved nature and being outdoors. He was a volunteer member of the American Fork Ambulance Assn. He retired after more than 25 years at Klune Industries and after 20 years at Tooele Army Depot. Dad, we love you and you will be missed. Survivors include his two children: Debbie Morgan (Karin); Philip Morgan Jr.; grandchildren: Jeremy (Roshelle) Moore; Neldon Pullman; Kaycee (Nick) Poulsen; 5 great grandchildren; his siblings Roy Morgan and Frances (Ray) Beasley. He is preceded in death by his wife years Mary Ann; his parents; and a brother Roger Morgan. A funeral Mass will be held Thursday January 29, 2015 at 11:00 a.m. in St. Peters Catholic Church (634 North 600 East. Am. Fork). A viewing will be held Wednesday from 6 to 8 p.m. at the Anderson & Sons Mortuary, (49 East 100 North, Am. Fork) and from 9:30 to 10:30 a.m. prior to the services at the church. Burial in the American Fork Cemetery.
