Obituary of Jon Wesley Buckner

Jon “Wes” Wesley Buckner 2001-2015 Wes Buckner, age 14, passed away Saturday, March 28, 2015 in Highland, Utah. He was born January 23, 2001 in American Fork, UT to Kevin and Mary Buckner. He attended Hobble Creek Elementary, Highland Elementary, and was most recently a student at Mountain Ridge Junior High. Wes will be most remembered for being a brilliant pianist and composer. He had a quick wit and kept those around him laughing. He also loved being outdoors; rock climbing, skiing, sailing, and trap shooting. He will be greatly missed by all those that knew him. He is survived by his parents, siblings Kristen Buckner, Jacob (Makaela) Buckner, Jessica (Tanner) Edwards, niece Eloise, grandfather Robert Hanson, and many Aunts, Uncles, and cousins. Funeral services will be held Saturday, April 4, 2015, at 11:00 a.m. in the Highland Central Stake Center, 5853 West 10400 North Highland, Utah. A viewing will be held Friday from 6-8 p.m. at Anderson & Sons Lone Peak, 6141 West 11000 North, Highland, UT and Saturday from 9:45-10:45 a.m. at the church prior to services.
