Obituary of Marleen Hardy Adams
Marleene H Adams passed away peacefully at her home on June 9, 2017 at the age of 83. She was born July 13, 1933 to Lewis and Ora May Hardy in Ogden, Utah.
She lived a wonderful, giving life. Family always came first.
She was a lifetime resident of American Fork, Utah. She went to American Fork High School. She married her High School Sweetheart “J” Richins Adams in the Salt Lake Temple on May 15, 1952.
She retired from Alpine School District Lunch Program after 21 years. She said, “That her best job was that of being a MOM.”
She is survived by her children: Cindy A Johnson (Lynn), J’Lene Willes (Dell), Clay Adams (Shaurna), James Adams (Nancy), Brad (deceased), Teena Allan (Darcy), Glen Adams (Rachelle), and Dean Adams, sister Valrie Kenney (Calvin), 21 grandchildren and 45 great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband “J” Richins Adams, son Brad Adams, son-in-law Lynn A Johnson, her parents Lewis and Ora Hardy, brother James Hardy, brother Don Hardy and sister Carla Roberts.
Services will be held Wednesday, June 14, 2017 at 11:00 a.m. in the American Fork 38th Ward, 2433 West 450 South, Pleasant Grove, Utah. A viewing will be held Tuesday from 6-8 p.m. at Anderson & Sons Mortuary, 49 East 100 North, American Fork and Wednesday at the church from 9:45-10:45 a.m. prior to the services.
