Obituary of DAnny Keith Watts

Danny Keith Watts, age 66, entered Heaven’s gates on April 15, 2015 after a long courageous battle with cancer. He was the beloved husband of Tina Rae Wickham Watts. He was born May 14, 1948 in American Fork, Utah to the late Chancy LaMar Watts and Mary Ila Jones Watts. Dan received his Master’s Degree in Social Work from the University of Utah and was licensed in both Utah and Idaho to practice. Dan was employed by the State of Idaho for 38 years and thoroughly enjoyed his work with Juvenile Corrections and the Adult Mental Health Center. He is survived by his brother, Gary (Lawana) Watts, his aunt Donna Watts Robinson, daughters: Kathrine Fon ( Brandon) Stankewsky, Lindsay Marie Johnson (Louis) Macias, and Danyell Watts, grandchildren: Sophia Bella Stankewsky, Analucia Emelia Stankewsky and Zion Bravo Stankewsky, nephew, Terry Watts, and nieces Wendy (Cody) Steggell and Julie Watts. Dan enjoyed riding his motorcycle, farming and traveling. Upon retiring in 2006, Dan and Tina rented a place in Mazatlan, Mexico where they volunteered with the Vineyard Church in helping to sponsor children so that they could attend school. To this day, Dan and Tina sponsor four children in Mazatlan. Dan was always thought of as a kind and giving person and would do whatever he could to help someone else. He believed and practices what Jesus tells us in regards to caring our brother’s burdens. He will be greatly missed by anyone that crossed his path. Rest in Peace my Beloved; you are no longer in pain. A celebration of Dan’s life will be held at the Adventure Church in American Fork, UT on Thursday April 23, 2015 at 7:00 p.m.
