Paul and Norma were surrogate parents to my brother, Dan and I. We always had Thanksgiving dinner at their house, and Norma was a wonderful cook. Paul was always so gentle and kind. He and my brother used to like to laugh a lot! I was sorry to read of his passing. I hope someone in the family gets to read this. My heart sank when I saw this. I know they must be having a great time together now. Dan also passed in 2009.

The children of Leroy and Ethel Mecham are dear to my heart. Their home was an example of what a Christ centered home should be like. Richard is one of my dearest friends and Paul was an integral part of that family. This life is weaker because Paul and his wife are gone but I hope I will be able to see them again.

Mark and I are so saddened to hear of Paul's passing. It was only a few weeks ago that we saw he and Craig at Stonehedge. I remember Paul and Norma as wonderful, examples in our old 5th ward. I'm sure a joyful reunion is taking place. Our love is with you--
